Easy question whats the best Cleaning Products you use ?

by admin on August 12, 2010

I actually Like simple green and Xtra Caribbean Mist All Purpose Cleaner .But I need something new getting bored with those any suggestions?

Magic Erasers here too. My husband just got new work boots that scuff up the floor; it’s driving me crazy!!! He is learning how to use the Magic Erasers well. I did let him scrub for about 5 minutes before I decided to be nice and tell him that you have to wet them first, lol. : )

LOVE my Magic Eraser mop too!!

What is this Roomba??? Time for Google…….
Although I’m not sure if this classifies as a cleaning product, I do have to add my Kirby. We gave in and bought a new one a few years ago- there is no better vacuum cleaner!!!

I have started using white vinegar and baking soda to do most cleaning. There are lots of websites to give you tips on how to use them effectively and safely, and they are super cheap!

I like to keep it simple, cheap and green by using things like vinegar and baking soda for most of the cleaning jobs. Bleach handles everything else. Mr. Clean Magic Erasers make all the yucky jobs easier.

I use the clorox green for floors, bathrooms. Regular soap and water on countertops. I sometimes use peroxide and water for cleaning the toys. It doens’t smell, wipes clean easy. I"m not a big smelly-good cleaning product person. The less smell the better for me.

Ok.. I use something that will get the rust off of anything! "the works" tub and shower, and then the toilet kind as well. We use it in our home, and also at the motel I work at! Be careful though, it’s powerful stuff!

I’m with Bella, I am a vinegar fanatic! Disinfects as well as clorox, cheap, much safer than most chemicals, and it has tons of uses! And when you need a scouring agent, just use baking soda with it.

You can even use a bit of vinegar in a bowl of water to soak veggies. Just as effect and cheaper at killing the dangerous bacteria than that veggie spray they sell. It also takes up pet urine stains and the smell (although vinegar doesn’t smell that much better.) And you can whiten your toilets with it…and you don’t risk releasing a potentially fatal gas if it mixes with urine like bleach will.

Simple Green for me too! I LOVE this stuff!!! I’ve yet to find a stain that can’t be cleaned by Simple Green. I use it on greasy-grimy laundry (hubby is a mechanic), carpet, upholstery, sinks, tubs, counters, shoes, in mop water, EVERYTHING! The only trouble is that it’s hard to find. My husband gets it at work, other than that I’ve seen it at a few industrial supply stores. I think I’m going to write Wal-Mart and demand they start stocking it!

I also use Lysol Kitchen Cleaner for everything kitchen. It’s pretty amazing stuff as well.

I use to use commercial grade green approved products but got bored and started making my own, mostly are vinegar, bleach and baking soda based and work just as good as the commercial stuff

I know where you’re coming from. I love the cleaning part, but I hate picking up the things to clean it. My bathroom is always shiny and fresh cause I clean it twice a week. And I absolutely love trying different products. I usually get bored before the bottle is even gone. My favorite that I stick with is Mop N Glo. It works great on all types of hard flooring. I also have a Bissel hard floor vacum. I love it!
