Anyone who owns marble or has owned marble countertops and floors in their home know how much time and energy it takes to clean marble. Cleaning marble can be a tough task if you are not sure of what you are doing and also if you are not using the correct marble cleaners. There are a couple steps that need to be taken in order to clean marble correctly and effectively.
The first thing you need to do is clean the marble surface from any type of dirt and debris. Once you are finished with cleaning the marble and granite surface then you can start on step #2 which is marble polishing. You can apply your marble polish to the surface and use a soft cloth to rub in the marble polish. This is just like waxing your car because this will leave a white film on the marble surface.
Next you will leave the marble polish on the surface for about 5 to 10 minutes or until the polish is dry, you will know it is dry because of the white film. Next wipe of the excess marble polish with another dry cloth. Now all you have to do is apply the marble sealer and you are done. Apply the marble sealer liberally on the marble and granite surface and let dry for about 5 to 10 minutes. Now all you need to do is buff away to white film from the marble sealer and enjoy the shine.
